The Adrenalina Skateboard Marathon is a 26.2 mile race on skateboards set to promote health, fitness, action sports & to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Research. I was so happy to be a part of such an awesome event! It was very hard and I could barely feel my legs afterwards but I’m so glad that I conquered the challenge and can add it to my bucket list!
The race consists of six laps around Fiesta Island in Mission Bay, San Diego. The top athletes win product giveaways from the greatest and latest in the skate industry.
There is also an SUP (Stand Up Paddle) Division for those that will like to bring your sticks and push around the Island. If you’re interested in learning more about Street Stand Up Paddleboarding, the Adrenalina Marathon or other similar races and events just shoot me a message!
The San Francisco Golden Gate Park Race
The San Francisco Golden Gate Park Race is another epic event that I was excited to be a part of. This is an awesome downhill race to the beach with lots of fellow longboarders and skateboarders of all skill levels.
At the end of the race there’s a BBQ party at the beach with everyone. I did this with some friends then later we skater all over San Francisco the rest of the day, including Fisherman’s Wharf, Downtown and to the Golden Gate Bridge. I can’t think of a better way to see the city than skating around it with awesome people!
24 Hour Ultra Skate at Homestead-Miami Speedway
There is one more long distance skate event worth mentioning, the annual 24-hour Ultra Skate event at Homestead Miami Speedway. The speedway allows campers and tents on the property during the event so that you can enjoy 24 hours of fun with friends, family and fellow skaters. People of all ages are allowed and there are milestones you can choose to aim for. If you or a family member of yours enjoys longboarding, this could be a fun experience for the whole family! Entrance is free for friends, family and fans!
